Terms & Conditions

Draft for legal review. These terms describe how the platform currently operates. They must be reviewed and adapted by a qualified legal practitioner for the operating jurisdiction before real-money competition begins.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Switch Gamers platform. By creating an account you agree to them, to the Privacy Policy, to the Tournament Rules and to the Fair Play Policy.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
  • One account per person. Sharing an account or playing on someone else's is prohibited.
  • You must meet the minimum age of 13 years.
  • Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Competition

  • Entry to a paid competition is confirmed only when payment clears.
  • Results are subject to verification and may be corrected by an administrator.
  • Ratings, standings and statistics are calculated by our systems and their output is final, subject to the dispute process.
  • We may cancel, reschedule or restructure a competition where circumstances require it.

4. Payments, wallet and prizes

  • Entry fees are charged in NAD unless stated otherwise.
  • Your wallet balance is a record of amounts held on your behalf. It does not earn interest.
  • Prizes are credited to your wallet once an administrator has released them.
  • Refunds are issued to your wallet, at our discretion and in line with the Tournament Rules.
  • Real-money withdrawals are enabled only once our payment provider and compliance requirements are satisfied. Until then, balances are held and cannot be withdrawn.
  • We may withhold a payout pending investigation of a suspected breach of the Fair Play Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Cheat, exploit, or use unauthorised software in any competition.
  • Manipulate results, ratings or seedings.
  • Harass, abuse or discriminate against any person on the platform.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user's account.
  • Scrape, overload or interfere with the normal operation of the service.

6. Suspension and termination

We may warn, suspend or ban an account that breaches these terms or the Fair Play Policy. Where an account is banned for cheating or fraud, any unpaid winnings may be forfeited. You may close your account at any time by contacting us; competition and financial records are retained as required for accounting and integrity purposes.

7. Content

You retain ownership of content you upload, such as your profile picture and match evidence, and grant us a licence to display it on the platform for the purposes of running competitions. You must not upload content you do not have the right to use, or content that is unlawful or offensive.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, upgrades and factors outside our control may cause downtime.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Switch Gamers is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to registered players. Continuing to use the platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
